eBay Powersellers Secrets Newsletter
“In this week’s newsletter Amanda shows you a live product sourcing
example.”
Hello!
Wow! What a flurry of positive
responses to my newsletter last week! As my loyal readers know, I always appreciate your feedback, and it seems
that my product sourcing idea certainly got you all fired up!
So much so in fact, that it got me
thinking about how I could give you a little bit of extra help.
With this in mind I thought I would put
together something rather special for you this week.
But first I want you to know that I
know as well as anyone that sometimes it can be a challenge to actually source a product that you know will sell
really well on eBay.
And I agree that this can be extremely
frustrating.
But, (and this is a big but) you will
need to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty! Like anything in life, the more you put in, the more you
get out.
Sometimes you will hit the product
jackpot straight away, other times you will have to trawl through a few searches until you find what you are
looking for and believe me, every eBay seller out there, including Powersellers, get frustrated at times because
they can’t find the product they want at the right price. It’s happened to me on more than a few occasions and I
know how you feel when you just seem to end up going round in circles.
I want to show you that you really can
source products at good wholesale prices that allow you to make a decent profit on eBay and I thought the best
way to do this would be to give you a real live example.
So that’s what I am going to
do!
I have intentionally chosen a product
that I talked about in last weeks newsletter because last Sunday, when I discovered that this item was a hot
selling product on eBay, I was in the same position as you - I had no idea where to source it from. I have never
sourced or sold this product before, so this live example is completely from scratch.
I’m going to show you my initial
search, the comparison of products and finally your actual costings and profit if you were to sell this item on
eBay right now.
So in the next 10 minutes, you will
know exactly how and where to source a current hot product that makes approximately £6.00 profit on every
sale.
Imagine selling 3 of these every day –
that’s £18.00 profit. Now imagine having 5 products like this, all selling 3 a day at £6.00 profit each. That’s
15 items per day making you a nice tidy profit of £90.00 EVERY day.
I’m telling you this because this is
the magic formula. eBay is a numbers game.
My strategy has always been to source
unbranded products that can be listed in multiple quantities over and over again on Buy It Now listings. My
products are always easy to package and post with the minimum of hassle and are more often than not sourced from
outside the UK.
Don’t worry; I intend to write a
newsletter in the near future dedicated to the benefits of sourcing products from outside the UK as I believe
that this is often the key to making the real money on eBay.
This is exactly how I started my eBay
business and over time I simply added higher ticketed items with greater margins to my
inventory.
