23/12/09 eBay Powersellers Secrets Newsletter

“In this week’s newsletter, Amanda is subjected to a Christmas Countdown.”  

Hello!

The excitement has been building in our house since August (yes, honestly!) and my two girls can barely contain themselves now that Christmas Day is only 2 sleeps away!  

I am barraged on an hourly basis with daughter number two asking a selection of questions including; whether her letter will have reached Santa yet (posted in our local post box addressed to “Father Christmas, North Pole” – do Royal Mail have a special section where these kind of letters get kept I wonder, or do you think they just put them in the bin?) and, how will Father Christmas get down the chimney because the wood burner is in the way and do Reindeer like eating fishfingers and chips? 

Meanwhile daughter number one is giving me a running commentary of exactly how long it is until the big day. She is very specific as she has set up a ‘Countdown To Christmas’ on her iPod so it’s not just a plain old “2 days till Christmas”, it’s “38 hours, 17 minutes and 10 seconds….9 seconds….8 seconds…” etc. I’ve kind of got used to this as background noise now – if she stops counting I will miss it! 

So, anyway, the tree is up, presents are wrapped (well nearly) and the Christmas cake has had its daily glug of Brandy. We are all ready and I will be having a nice break over Christmas with my family, recharging my batteries and looking forward to being refreshed and ready to go in January. 

I hope your eBaying has gone well throughout 2009 and especially in the run up to Christmas and I hope I have given you some motivation and new ideas through my weekly newsletters.
